"With a Polish heart and a Greek soul", is what I called my World Vibe program last evening. It featured Ross Daly, born in Ireland but surely re-born in the place that holds his heart, Crete. Ross plays numerous instruments. His music mixes Turkish and Arabic influences. He's a Master of the lyra, shown here. And, has featured in festivals in Adelaide.

Hello World Vibe friends! My name is Mickey, a new presenter.

Through work, I have been fortunate enough to see a little bit of

the world, meet wonderful people and listen to all kinds of

amazing music, which I hope to share with you through the show.

In this Thursday’s edition, I will be taking you on a trip to the

7,000 plus islands of the Caribbean.We will listen to music that

are a syntheses of African,European,Indian and native influences.
