Hello World Vibe friends! My name is Mickey, a new presenter.
Through work, I have been fortunate enough to see a little bit of
the world, meet wonderful people and listen to all kinds of
amazing music, which I hope to share with you through the show.
In this Thursday’s edition, I will be taking you on a trip to the
7,000 plus islands of the Caribbean.We will listen to music that
are a syntheses of African,European,Indian and native influences.
Some of the styles you’ll hear will include soca, reggae, calypso
and dance hall. We will visit tunes from the islands of Jamaica,
Antigua and Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
So take out your straw hat and your cocktail, and join me as we
groove to the beat of the West Indies!
